CANCELLATIONS

  • Our records show that each month 90-120 patients do not show up for their appointments. We call them "No Shows". This is unfair to other patients who require urgent attention.
  • By cancelling your appointment, this time slot may be given to another needy patient. This reduces waiting time, and ensures that you and other patients are seen by the doctor without delay.
  • We request that if you need to cancel an appointment, please do so by giving 24 hours notice – so we can give your time slot to another patient. Cancelling at the last minute is not fair to other patients.
  • A fee of $ 69 will be billed to patients who are repeat "No Show" offenders. We appreciate that most of our loyal patients do cancel with 24-hours notice. We also recognize that on rare occasion family emergencies arise and acknowledge that some situations are unavoidable. These short notice cancellations will be assessed on an individual basis – your penalty may be waived.
